Sorry for not writing much the past few days. Weekends are just normally very busy for me, and this past weekend was just extra loaded with family responsibilities and the like. Anyway, it’s sort of late, and I’m tired, so I’ll just get right down to it. I have a website that I hope you’ll go to, (thenewfitu.com), and there you’ll find lots of great stuff to help you on your journey to getting fit, and taking good care of yourself, mentally, physically, and spiritually. However, I know many of you just can’t seem to get started. It’s a fact. It’s also a fact that many people start working out, and eating right, then they don’t keep it up. Usually the first to go is the working out. Life get’s really busy, and we just don’t seem to be able to squeeze it in anymore. Then, after a short while, if we’re not working out, we, probably sub or unconsciously, begin to not eat as well. The 2 really do go hand in hand. If we’re working out, it just doesn’t make sense to not eat well.
All of this is true. Believe me, I know. I’ve been on both sides of this fence. And for a long time, luckily, I’ve had the drive and passion to be on the good side for a good part of my life. But given that many, many people do not take great care of themselves, and many of those do make efforts from time to time to get in better shape, but fall by the wayside, I must make this point. Whether you workout or don’t. Or, whether you sometimes workout, and then stop- there’s truly 1 thing that must stop. (Sorry, I usually don’t tell people what they should do. It sort of lends itself to people wanting to rebel). The Fast Food Must Go! The fast food has to stop. I’m telling you, that just cutting this out, will make you feel so much better. I actually believe that if you’re in really bad shape, this means that you haven’t worked out in a while, and you eat alot of nasty fast food. Eating that crap has such a bad affect; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Believe me, I know. For a while I was working as a courier, and I worked alot. I was always on the go, and didn’t get alot of exercise cause I was always sitting in the car, driving around. When I lost that job, I instantly stopped eating fast food, and all of a sudden, I began to feel better. All of a sudden, I began to believe that maybe I could get back in good shape. Physical conditioning, as with many things, is as much mental, as it is physical.
So, please, please, please, treat yourself better than that. Give yourself a chance to move to the other side of that fence to the active and healthy. For more info, check out my site, and follow me on twitter. Bye for now. Be healthy, safe, and happy.
