Well, it wasn't my intention to not post anything all weekend, but a never-ending series of responsibilities kept me busy all weekend. Anyway, it's another cold, rainy day here in the great northeast. It's been 10 days since my cyst/skin tag removal surgery on my back, and I'm itching to get out there on my bicycle. I'm almost glad the weather is bad because I don't think I could stop myself from riding, and I probably need another few days of taking it easy. I do however believe that for some reason I'm supposed to wait another day or 2, so I will.
Until then, there's plenty of good things I can do for myself. I've got a fridge stocked with healthy food, which I've found is key. If I don't have junk food laying around, I can't eat it. I also will be doing some wonderful stretching, meditating, and perhaps a bit of yoga. Wow, life is wonderful. I know there's so many people who struggle with taking good care of themselves, and I truly feel for them, as well as feel very blessed that I've been given the willingness to want to keep fit. For me, it's definitely a lifestyle thing. The less I wonder off course, the easier it is to stay on the path. When I'm fit, I can't imagine being any other way, and I feel like I have so much energy and passion to be able to lead the busy life that I do.
